How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

I'm not really, well, I suppose I sort of am. I will be seeing The Hobbit tomorrow in the IMAX in Sheffield so looking forward to that as it should be awesome sauce! I think we'll see the 9 minute preview of Star Trek 2 aswell, which should be interesting.

In other news, finished University for Christmas today! Work all finished and handed in on time! Oh I did that presentation, it was awful but I got a 2:1 (second highest) so I'm cool with that. I'm now awaiting the grade of a garbage essay and my coursework. I may upload my coursework on here over the next week or so, but then I may not, I still don't like it... I mean it's alright but I see it differently to other work I upload here. Also I'm half way through my time at Uni now, which is a little scary!

So yeah I'm off now which means over the holidays I'll probably be working more... However I do currently have a week off which is gravy. I may be Ice Skating, going to Nandos with some chums from work and I want to see Rise of the Guardians. I also need to do Christmas shopping; I've got a couple of presents but that's about it... Every year I say I'll start earlier and it never happens... Boo! But yeah, I intend to do some artwork of my choice over the holidays, but I won't guarantee anything (art block tends to show its face around now...)

Anyway, thas all for now. If I don't make a journal before, have a great Christmas and a happy new year!
